Adriana was born in Miami, Florida, and is of Colombian origin. She studied Broadcast Journalism at Florida International University. She speaks Spanish, English and French. She has been featured in Latin American as well as USA television programs. She has worked for the top Hispanic networks: Univision, TV Azteca, Fox Sports America's, Telefutura and Telemundo. She was the anchor of "Edicion Especial" a live-television show based on the entertainment industry, she was the host of Cinemundo and hosted most of Telemundo's Specials. She also worked on Don Francisco's Sabado Gigante which is Univision's highest rated show for 7 years being part of the cast of La Familia Fernandez. Hispanics have seen her regularly on top rated shows such as Despierta America, Un Nuevo Dia, Sabado Gigante, El Gordo y La Flaca, Cristina, Suelta La Sopa, Escandalo, Ventaneando, Primer Impacto, Don Francisco Presenta, "Viva La Familia de Todo Bebe," just to name a few.
Rene was born in Artemisa, Havana Province, Cuba. In 1980, at the age of 11, he was part of the Mariel Boatlift. In 1996, he appeared as Gustavo in the acclaimed independent film Azúcar amarga directed by Leon Ichaso. He has also appeared on the long-running ABC soap opera, One Life to Live as Javier Pérez (1995–96, 1997). He has also acted in the telenovela genre appearing in Morelia (1995), and in the Venevision produced Enamorada (1999). In 2001, he appeared as the male lead in Televisa's María Belén. He is in Guerrilla alongside Benicio del Toro (2008), and is also in the independent movie about Dr. Ricardo Saca, called Flights of Fancy also starring María Conchita Alonso. He is a producer working on various independent projects including music videos and Latin culture-themed films. Additionally, he was formerly named to the board of directors for Fuego Entertainment, a Miami-based Latin-entertainment company that is public under OTC:BB FUGO.
